SAN/NAS And Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure Course (SANHC)

General Information

 Trainer Profile

Mr. Bhargav is Sr. Data Center Engineer with over 8 years of experience in technologies around Virtualization, Private Cloud, Converged Infrastructure, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies working with vendors such as VMware, Cisco, HP, EMC, NetApp, Brocade, VCE, Veeam, Nutanix, Simplivity. He currently works for a system Integrator and is exposed to the latest and the greatest technologies in the Data Center space on a day to day basis.

Description

In this course the students will be learning basics of SAN/NAS and focused on EMC storage. After that the students will be focused on learning latest technologies around Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure. This course gives you the opportunity to learn about different storage protocols (SAN/NAS) with special focus on EMC Storage (VNX, Isilon etc.). Students will also get to learn about the Fiber Channel switching, zoning and also learn about Converged technologies like VBlock and Hyper Converged technologies like Nutanix and Simplivity. This course can be made into a 40 hour or 80 hour course depending on the topics we choose. 40 hours for SAN/NAS and 80 hours for SAN/NAS AND Converged/Hyper Converged Infrastructure

Step Module Description
1 SAN 100 SAN/NAS
2 HC 200 Converged And Hyper Converged Infrastructure

Course Deliverables

Classroom Training: Apart from the core conceptual knowledge that we deliver. All examples and practicals will be demonstrated practically on servers (Nothing will be just Theary!).

Lab: Students can create and destroy virtual machines on demand, to practice things learned in the class.
